About Me
I am a senior at Oakland University, double majoring in Public Relations and Advertising & Piano Performance. Both paths have one thing in common…creativity, the key ingredient to every strategic success in PR.
As an arts reporter for The Oakland Post, I cover on-campus talent and cultural stories, I serve as editor-in-chief of BeGolden Magazine, leading a team of nearly 70 creatives to produce bold, expressive content. My experience extends beyond the classroom through internships at Karmanos Cancer Institute and the OU William Beaumont School of Medicine, where I’ve developed skills in healthcare communications and strategic messaging. I also work part time as a licensed realtor, which has taught me the importance of clear communication, professionalism and building trust with clients. My upcoming January internship is at the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce.
I believe good communication is critical to audience perception. Whether it’s helping someone feel seen, shaping a brand’s identity or telling a story that resonates, I’m passionate about creating work that’s honest, intentional and impactful. I’m always looking for new ways to grow, collaborate and contribute meaningfully, whether that opportunity exists inin media, marketing or public relations.
