Being the public relations intern for the OU William Beaumont School of Medicine, I amplify the voices of students who care about the community which surrounds them as much as they care for their patients. Imagine a world where people actually cared for and listened to the needs of others; that is the new generation of doctors being produced at this school. I have the honor of covering their commitment to community service, fundraising for special causes and student organizations.

As a marketing and communications intern at Karmanos Cancer Institute, I completed articles on various medical-related topics. I conducted professional interviews and informed audiences of the large impact Karmanos continues to make as an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center. These work samples showcase my ability to write in different styles and adapt my voice to the audience's needs. They demonstrate my growth as a writer, attention to detail and ability to convey complex information clearly and engagingly.
